I am too - I am inspired by the minds who can think so differently and move forward challenging the status quo. THe process of discovery as we explore is quite invigorating to me. Quite frankly - this is what our country is about; the continued opportunity to change.

If you get a chance to listen to any podcasts - the Nature podcast is a very good one. Summarizies much of the most recent issues of the magazine in user friendly terms - often with interviews from the authors. One of my personal favorites... There are good podcast players (or so our tech support - geo - tells me) on Yahoo...

another great one is the NPR show Science Friday - pick and choose your areas of interest....

http://www.sciencefriday.com/ for the home page
http://www.sciencefriday.com/audio/scifriaudio.xml for the podcast

They often have good interviews from leading edge environmental researchers from very different walks of life.

Another podcast I've been listening to - liking some, not liking others but all have been engaging is The University Channel
