In order for me to speak from the present moment, which contains all unknowing, I must somehow quiet down, let the mind wind its way to silence and simply sit in the place
where uncertainty resides. Let me do that now...slowly I sink in...slowly I begin to feel my body...there is a fullness in the chest...a heart pain...an ache without end...softly now I enter this place...my heart’s ache is huge and seems to fill the whole of space ...the mind has wound down now and simply abides...alert to whatever call may come...the heart, aching on in silence...feels so full...could this be...love?
Its not that I don’t understand “not knowing” its just that I see that stance as potentially limiting. If we are standing in not knowing declaring that nothing can ever be known then how do we ever speak? How do we touch each other? How do we hold each other in our pain and in our bewilderment? How do we ever communicate with another?
Yes, there is a whole body knowing but if given time, the mind can speak of it. No, it does not originate in the mind, but it can be spoken by the mind. When out of the
heart, the mind speaks it is a very fine thing indeed. Indeed much of what is written in this forum comes from such a heart space. For each one here lives in that unknowing, and speaks from it as best they can. Even me. It is the realm of the Queen, her kingdom, and there she dwells in all her majesty. The mind must wait, a lowly servant, for the words to come that say what she would speak...let us listen carefully each to one another and
perhaps we will hear that voice, that wisdom, that priceless treasure...perhaps we shall hear the Queen (or King) speak through the the mind we so disdain. It has a place in the kingdom and in that place it fits into the proper order of things. When it speaks what the heart knows others hear it for it resonates in their hearts and
something, something! takes place which alters the kingdom forever. This mystery may be very vast indeed, but if we listen carefully perhaps we may partake of it.
