Subject: The Risks of Heading the Ball.

<a rel=nofollow target=_blank href="https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/c708464p1zpo">https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/c708464p1zpo</a>
An interesting article which says that heading the ball makes players 3 times more likely to develop neuro degenerative disorders in later life. The article focuses on Gary Pallister and Steve Howey. According to the article the FA have brought in a rule change which is seeing deliberate heading in matches being phased out by the FA, external at under-11 level over three seasons. So I am wondering how long before they phase heading out of professional football? Those under 11's might have a different attitude to heading as they move through to adulthood. Do you think it will effect the overall quality of the game if it is banned?
