  • What list? Is that a requirement? The cheap option was carsley or someone internal, not someone on 5m plus all his coaches. An interview list means nothing anyway, hi pep/jurgen, fancy coming in for a chat about the Englsnd job, no, oh ok. Would tbey be on thr list? Surely klopp/pep/howe are all under contract so unless employer approves you can’t interview them anyway.     • The fa have already stated they have interviewed numerous candidates. And I’m guessing you didn’t know but Southgate was on 5 million a year plus, and he was already the cheap internal option.       • FA need someone mid season, different to a team letting them speak to move at the end of the season, can barely remember a manager breaking contract mid season if someone isn’t sacked. Cheap option was carsley/another internal, less money, fewer demands, irrelevant what Southgate earns. So what constitutes an interview? If I ring pep and ask, you interested, does that count? Because they said more were interested than others so, clearly some of them it would have been pointless to interview.
