Subject: Really depressing evening and result

So by mid-September we are already out of probably the one competition we may have had a genuine chance in. The FA Cup is not till January and as the for Premiership, my assessment of how we may do has gone right down the pan following last night's performance. It was nothing short of pathetic. We scored 2 goals against probably the weakest team in the league (Leicester) but honestly, how many times do people think we will actually manage to score 2 or more goals this season? Good attacking play is virtually non-existent and the attitude of the players stinks. It was ridiculous to sell Stansfield without giving the boy at least a chance in the premiership. There is not a single player in our group of so-called forwards that one would bet on them scoring more than 10 goals in the season. The best we can hope for now until May 2025 is to reach 17th in the league!!
