$The anger that boiled within the blonde dove died with a sicken thud as Zeth tumbled backwards and to the floor. She watched silently as the raven removed herself from the area, yet Max still remained, she knew of the other...after all she'd been one of Zeth's "friends" though out of all the women Zeth had been with, Alicia had to admit this was one of his finer choices in them. Sigh was issued as she knelt before the male of handsome features, yet they became contorted and fearful at her approach, frown given as he jumped upwards only to crumble to the ground once more. Optics of two hues shimmered with worry and concern, as the male seemed to cry and scream while running from something no one else could see. Standing to move after him, Alicia did not speak, unable to find words even if she wanted to. The once mighty man, now a sniffling boy at the feet of Max...it was enough to bring a tear to the female's icy pools.
He had made his choice it seemed, Max had won and she hadn't even tried to stop her. Shoulders slumped as she began to realize she'd never be the woman Zeth needed, no matter how much she had changed nor how much of her soul she'd lost, she was always just a fling...the only one capable of putting a ring on his finger that was. Amazingly he still held the ring upon his hand, the glimmering metal doing nothing but driving the knife within her gut even farther then before. The pain was always there, she had learned to live with it, but faced with the cause of such pain...Alicia didn't know if she could last.
Trembling lips were steeled as with a determined gasp of breath she gazed towards Max. "Ta...Take care of him for me Max." The words spoken so softly only those of nonhuman ability could hear. Lips quivering once more as she gazed at Zeth once more, his face nearly buried within Max's leg, as he seemed to silently beg for mercy and deliverance from the thing he had once promised the blonde dove he'd never do. "Take care of him...for he has never been as strong as many think." Words spoken not in hate but truth as with a slow walk the female came forward, kneeling in the ground where moments ago within this male's mind bugs and so much more had lain. "I love you and I always will..." This stated she kissed his slightly gapping lips and rose. Wiping the tears as she went she turned, back to the duo as she headed down the hall. He did not want her, and she could not bear to see him with another, she would merely remain a married old maid for the rest of her life. Heeled feet were heard traveling down the hallway to the master bedroom where with the final amount of energy Alicia locked the door and buried herself in the sheets she'd once dreamed of being in.
