In reply to: Zeth 's message, "It was school related, sowwies! besides- loo always comes back." on 08:18:04 02/04/05 Fri

It had been so long, years really, since he had had to do his own laundry that he couldn't possibly tell whether what he wore was suitable for the dryer or not. One of the unforseen benefits of keeping a human around. So long as he could still fit into them enough to get home, who really cared? And who knew, if the pants shrank just a bit to show off his ass a little more maybe he could lure a few extra females home with him along the way! Relaxing into the heavenly warmth, he scarce batted an eye as Zeth came and went, perfectly comfortable with the absence of clothing in a stranger's presence. What wasn't comfortable was lingering too long alone in someone else's bathroom while the rest of the company waited in the front rooms. Just soak long enough to grow comfortably warm, to the point the shivering stopped sending ripples across the steaming surface, and to scrub the residual sea-salt from his hair and body. Not a proper cleaning, but enough to be acceptably presentable. How long he was in there, he had no idea- his brain was no doubt as frozen as the rest of him had been... The time could have been a little drawn out, as well, by the fact that the scent of food had an annoying tendency to make him feel rather queasy. What kind of vampires were these that could stomach nourishment other than blood? However rude he might appear declining any offer of supper, the violence with which he knew the meal would rebound should it make it down his throat would be far more offensive. Reluctantly letting the water slip down the drain, he toweled off, wrapped the towel around his waist and, with a habitual passing glance at the mirror though no face looked back out at him, he left the bathroom to gather the robe left for him. How wonderful to simply be dry again, and wrapped in warm clothing! Now, there was a fire waiting out front, was there not? Best go make use of that as well! Returning the towel to the bathroom, neatly folded of course, he bundled the robe about him -had to be decent, afterall- and retraced his path back out to the others, eyes a little less wild and demeanor noticeably more subdued than when he had last left them.
