Field-marshal Von Buffy pretty much lost her humanity in S7. Look at her response to
Cloe hanging her self or her actions toward Anya.She was unsympathetic to Spike when he hade his breakdown and shut out Giles towards the end. She was all about the mission nothing else mattered
