Nevertheless, he would’ve continued venting out his anger on the fence had the human not appeared. All four hooves returning firmly upon the ground, he swivels sharply upon his hindhooves to glare at the biped with a defiant snort, auds plastered flat against his otherwise refined skull. Ivories snapping out with the full intention of obtaining a good chunk of whatever material was covering the man’s upper torso, he draws his mug back just in time to prevent himself from clashing into the mare instead. He obviously didn’t care that the human was a favored groom or whatever he was, but he did spare an extra thought for the mare. Auds flickering in confusion as the man leads Peytona out of her paddock, he presses his chest against his own deformed gate, his expression all innocent and puppy-dog-eyed now that he knew the human had the power to release him from his cell. About to charge out of the paddock, he ends up having to back away when the mare calmly walks through the gate and into his designated area. Taking but a brief moment to lash out at Carlos just for the sake of leaving a vivid impression of this particular chestnut, the Kid soon turns his attention to the mare, a soft whicker given. A note taken of her wariness, he remains quite still, only his voids trailing after her elegant frame. Then, with a snort and a bob of his crania, he slides into a high-stepping trot around the mare, voids flashing with undeniable mischief and playfulness.
