Legolas bowed his head as Aragorn jerked away from him. Pain shot through him. 'He's disgusted. He doesn't want to be near me.' He closed his eyes as Aragorn held him tight. 'And now he pities me.' Legolas managed to wrap his arms around himself and buried his face in Aragorns shirt. 'I shouldn't have told him. I've messed everything up.' "You don't have to pity me." Legolas whispered, his voice catching in his throat.
