For example, the Ivy softball teams' composite record is 22-39 in non-conference games, which favorably compares to the Ivy baseball composite record of 10-39 in non-conference games to date. The Ivy women's teams seem to have less recruiting competition from the Power conferences since there are fewer attractive professional sports team options for women compared to men. Florida lighting up the pen doesn't mean much as the Gators will light up everybody's pen this spring. But Marist had struggled to score until they got into our 3rd SP and bullpen.
