I think that Columbia likely got their bid as a result of Griffith’s video plea and the committee’s clear recollection that in 2023, Columbia was the first team out. So the committee threw Columbia and the Ivy League a bone, a very rare bone. Post- the loss to Vandy, I doubt that there will be future such bones for the Lions. Going forward, the only way that the Ivies could be a two-bid league is Princeton not winning the ILT and earning an at-large. Lions have had their shot.
