Yale will be a formidable opponent in the IL championship series. If Yale sweeps next weekend then we are co-champs but Yale gets the home field advantage. The interesting question in a short series is who pitches for Yale in game 1. My guess is that Yale saves its freshman ace for game 2. Make no mistake-Yale’s first year pitcher is very, very good. According to Hamm, the baseball team's roster at Yale is undersized and at a disadvantage against all of its Ivy League opponents due to an under allotment of athletes by Yale's Athletic Department.
