Rep Brian Maher took that woman at her word and didn’t bother fact checking anything before he went to FauxNews to blast it all over America.
It was the MidHudsonTimes that did the deep dive and found out the depth of the deception and provided receipts. I see Maher has apologized and, along with Jacobson, are asking for further investigation by the AG and DA. But those networks who ran with the story, they’re mostly silent, continuing to perpetuate the lie. Despicable behavior by despicable people.
