It's a shame, that the city says the size of the pipes that feed the hydrants caused the massive loss. Clearly if there were two arriving engines, a good jump on that fire would have been had. One to attack the fire building, second due, to possibly protect exposure buildings. Any firefighter worth it's salt would agree two engines is better than one. But to blame this on infrastructure is wrong. Lucky we had an engine in the city, and it wasn't out assisting in a neighboring community. The Mayor is something else, spreading the narrative of water supply, instead of manpower.
