The new board president of it's the same person, is ex councilperson Bello, who had a contentious relationship with several departments in our city. She wasn't elected again due to her negative attitude, and actions. Her true nature will soon be seen on this school board. Ask around about her, and her friend Jack Penny. I'm old-school, as is she, she is on this re-invention lap of a political resurgence. Let me not digress, but speak to Mr. Shakur, when his tirade with the police department made national news, he was censured for a brief period. He has blown his perverbial top at several council meetings, especially in regards to the public safety layoffs, when he was a proponent for the dismantling of the PD, which led to this situation we were put in. On the whole, wether it's the school board, or City council, we operate at a loss, due to inexperienced elected officials, who let personal agenda, affect their decision making process. Why haven't any council members besides McLymore speak of Shakur's transgressions? Thank God for him.
