Executive sessions are meetings within meetings that deal with a very narrow set of requirements that do not get recorded or are accessible to the public. They do have to state what they are going into executive session for. Unfortunately we have a corporation counsel who is very lax on that front and has allowed such sessions to occur when the discussions were not within those narrow set of parameters- and rarely is the public told what the executive sessions are about. Rules seem to be meaningless when incompetence is in charge. There are no higher authorities who care nor will they ever do anything about it.
