Mid-Hudson News.com reported this morning that the 🆕 deputy will be on board January 1st. The mayor is quoted that the new hire may be visiting the department and meeting Chief Rola today. If this morning’s reporting is correct, Mr. Venning has gone completely rogue. It is reported that the city manager never gave Chief Rola advance notice, and simply sent a memo to the department announcing the hire. This is completely unprofessional.
