Jon wasn't as practiced as her at keeping up a calm face in public, actually he wasn't very experienced with public and social matters almost at all. He scooped some of the lasagna on his fork, blowing on it softly, listening to her. He ate it, chewing slowly as he thought about what she had said. It was true he supposed. Alot of things society thought of as wrong alot of people didn't. He knew a few friends who had settled down happily with girls younger than them, only a year or two older than Sara. He looked at her as she spoke again, giving a small smile. "I wouldn't either.." He said softly, taking another bite of lasagna then drinking some water. He wondered if he had to say aloud, that he wanted to keep seeing her, or if this mutual silence would be enough. His green eyes watched her, trying to make it not too obvious he was doing so, but he couldn't really help it. Jon had never thought he'd catch the interest of a girl like Sara, no matter how old she was. He'd always been the loser, the invisble one, the boy girls like her had sneered at and their boyfriends had picked on. Jon had come a long way since then.
