I have a practicle question. What does a body of believers do when there is a lack of men capable of leadership?

Leadership is not a question of skill, but of spirit. I'd say that if the spiritual situation of a given group of believers is so poor that there are no men capable of taking the lead, then more than a little is amiss.

If there is no married woman capable of taking the lead either, then we're talking about a really bad situation.
If there is, then before she should try to take the lead in a fellowship, she should encourage her husband: when she can not lead her husband to pursue the Lord, then she has no business trying to do that with others (any married person's FIRST concern is their spouse, the church is ALWAYS SECOND).
But when she can lead her husband on the right track, then the problem is ameliorated: her husband is diligently pursuing the Lord, so why would he not be able to lead?

Now, we would come to the situation where only single sisters seem to be spiritually awake.
Well, the Lord is souvreign, what would He do? I don't know.
I think the first thing would be for those sisters to consider their situation before Him, ask Him, seek Him, and then act according to His Will. I doubt that He'd set a totally incapable man to lead them.

I would just throw in one penny for a thought: if a group of sisters desires to have a "church life fellowship", then it would be normal that they try to outreach to men as well, not keep it as a woman's clique (if so, it's an organization not a church, and I already said in organizations, women leadership is fine).
