Could someone please clarify the situation regarding the club shop? My father-in-law has visited on six separate occasions recently, varying from Friday to Saturday, and the shop has been closed. Also I have tried to purchase items items and have been told that "we are expecting an order in this week."
If we are asiring to be a bigger club then surely this is an area that needs development with a regular shop for supporters to purchase merchandise or at least the means of ordering items with quick delivery guaranteed.

PS Well done today against Tredegar always going to be a difficult game.

Here is a thought, rather than complain and make bad publicity for the club what about being constructive?!?

Why not call Elm House, get the opening and closing times then go when the shop is open?

Then maybe you can even post on the message board and tell us how happy you are with you merchandise.

When Ebbw Vale was down at the beginning of the season how many supporters got on the clubs back? NONE THEY ALL PULLED TOGETHER

Nuff said

P.S.

Are you like that moth off the Kitkat advert when you keep going back when that light bulb burns you? Shows your intelligence really doesn’t it?

Do you not go to the Matches on a Saturday? The club shop is open both before and after the game.

>I think P has a point. Surely we can take over one of the empty premises in the Town with Torfaen CBC's support and man it with volunteers.

We need a commercial presence in the Town on every day to pick up the casual visitors and not just those going to the Park for the game.

When I worked up North in Newcastle, the merchandise for the football team was available in local supermarkets under licence.

It is a bit frustating when you try and buy a shirt and you have to wait weeks to get one. Hope this is sorted by Christmas when there's sure to be a big demand.

why should you have to phone the clubhouse when the shop should be open on fridays and saturdays as stated, and there is no stock in there anyway everything has to be ordrered on various sheets of a4 paper which get lost or mislaid, very professional, and if your such a bright spark why are you having a go at someone who wants to put money into the club through buying merchandise

Putting money into the club is different to purchasing a product.

Now you have jumped on the band wagon and criticised our club by being sarcastic and saying “very professional”

Trev do you have the money to buy the club a computer? If not then get off you high horse.

Please don’t post negative messages, I cannot see where this will get you, try writing to the club or sending the webmaster an email (with your contact details) so he/the club can reply.

And my last point the club shop in the market was open on both those days.
