I understand your sentiment, but the real problem is with the union. You suggest they would change the rules to promote Aberavon if they finish second. I seem to remember that we had the biggest winning margin in the history of the 1st Div last season...they weren't so keen to promote us then. Please vent your anger, should you have any in the next few weeks, at the WRU. It is a shame that so many barriers are placed in front of clubs wanting to better themselves, let alone two of the greatest in welsh rugby history. P.S. may the best team win.

I agree with your sentiments but disagree that we'd get better treatment you if we finished second. I don't think that we're flavour of the month with the WRU because Bravon have refused to keep quiet on a number of issues and somehow if we can't score enough tries it'll be pay-back time.
Whatever the outcome of the Dunvant match, one of us has to win the play-off and then start upstaging those people who've decided that they're better than us.

As a comparison the RFU are starting to learn the same tricks.
Rotherham have won the league yet the day before Leeds played Quins in a crunch premiership relegation game they announced that promotion would depend on a review of the ground & facilities. What's the betting that if Quins finish bottom Rotherham (who were in the premiership 2000-01) won't be 'acceptable' and no relegation would happen.
As I've always been told it's not what you know but who you know.
