Hey ladies! Just thought I would pass the word along that I just spoke to Peggy and Earl Wagner about the rumor that they are starting a new pageant system. Good news, they are!! It is going to be called the Miss Texas Stars Scholarship Pageant. The Wagner's said that there is going to be 3 different age groups; 13-18, 18-24, 24-30, personally I am excited about the extended age limit because I only had one more year left in the USA system. The Wagner's always had an awesome show and they ran their pageant with integrity. I am so glad to see that the Wagner's haven't let the Miss Texas USA system stop them from doing what they love. I'm sure that many girls will be excited that the Wagner's still have a pageant that us girls can be involved in. Pageant is March 3-5, 2006 in Plano, TX. My guess is that the Clark's are trying to recruit Miss America directors. Miss USA controls Houston and the Miss America system controls North Texas. The Clarks replaced the North Texas directors in an effort to gain marketshare. The real question will be, however, will these directors be content on wtach the Houston-area delegates win year after year after year? (NT) -- Just guessing, Thursday, August 25, 10:29:42pm
