They said he would probably have headaches for 2-3 days and they were right. He hasn't had his usual voracious appetite either. I may have to order a pizza for him, he can't say no to pizza.

Tomorrow they will try to let him sit up, and then observe him for a couple more days to see if he can handle the change from horizontal to vertical without any problems. I can tell he is 'out of it', he is normally really talkative but now just mumbles, smiles, or nods. I think that he thinks that if he asks for pain meds that they won't let him go home. He's a tough kid.

And man all those tubes and wires, beeps and alerts, it stresses me out and I'm not hooked up to them. 'though I noticed when he has a young and pretty nurse the alarms seem to sound off a bit more. It's probably just coincidence. Or, 'cause he's 13.
