(He sighed and closed his eyes as she started massaging his temples, rolling his head back a little against her chest and letting out a deep breath as he usually did when she 'assumed the position' and began to massage his stress away. There was something to be said about the way she could read him and was able to guage exactly where to touch him and exactly how much pressure to use to ease his stress, drain his tension and sooth the worst of headaches from his body. This time she was preempting the headache and was helping him to relax and the way she was rubbing his shoulders was actually distracting him from his little pity-party and he forgot to keep stressing over it. It just felt so good to have her rub away the tension in his shoulders, his muscles were achingly tight.) I just wish I could have done something to make her see that she was headed down the wrong path.. and for someone like me to miss the signs that she was on drugs is.. well, I just dont believe it. (He shook his head a little, though it was more of a twitch than a shake since her hands were on the sides of his head at the time. Frowning, he listened to her speak and ran his hand up the underside of her leg from her rear end to her knee and back, reveling at how small she was and yet what an amazingly strong woman she was.) I honestly don't know what Courtney was thinking, approaching him when he was like that.. I have seen him lose his mind over something like that and you just dont walk up to a man in that state of mind. She knows that she made a mistake and she doesnt blame Kyrian, but she was a bit peeved with him about it. (He opened his eyes and furrowed his brow, as though he couldn't think about this without making the facial expression to go along with it, whether she could see it or not.) You know, I find it odd just how many people understand the deeply protective streak running through Kyrian.. I wonder if he knows how many people jump through hoops for him on this team. (He let out a humorless laugh and closed his eyes again, leaning back into her hands and sighing in pleasure.) I want him to be happy, Shay.. but I dont see that happening while he or Haylie are field agents.
