Yesterday I took a bad fall and broke my big toe and a bone in the top of my foot. I went to doctor today and they xrayed it and wrote prescriptions. The doctor wrote me a script for a walking boot which is like a splint that straps on your foot and leg, but when I went to get it filled at medical supply they said my MEDICARE won't pay for it !!

I am thinking ok I will buy it BUT it cost $100 for this boot. I am on disablility and can not afford to pay this and what is the deal with Medicare !!

SO IF ANYONE, has a walking boot cast that they can sell me, loan me, or donate to me PLEASE PLEASE CALL ME AT 936-433-0550.

I cannot walk on this foot.

Due to my husband recieving a job offer in Springdale, Arkansas we are relocating. I need to find a home for our little mini pin/boston terrier mix Vixen. She is almost 6 months old. Tiny and cute as can be. But being that we are going to be renting for a little while I will not be able to take her with me. :( I would prefer if she went to someone who has children, as we have 5 kids and she is very hyper and loves to play. Also a fenced in yard would be nice but not necessary, as she is on a leash here since we do not have a fenced yard. Anyhow please respond here or by email. Thank you so much.

Yes I do have a picture of Vixen, she is mostly black with some brindle markings. She is teeny, might weigh 5 lbs at the most. And Yes she does look like a mini pin, you can't really even tell she has any boston terrier in her because she has the body style of a mini pin. Unfortunately we have had some unforseen personal problems come up which delayed our opening of the shop.
We will be open this friday December 8th at 10:00 am. We have some really nice gift items and ladies clothing and will have more to come thru the next couple of weeks. We have a lot of Christmas decorations that will be on closeout so now is the time to get your decorations before Christmas and not afterwards!

We are now open Thursday through Sunday 9am to 5pm. through Christmas Eve. We have 12 vinders with lots of different merchandise. I have a full line of motorcycle gear. Solid leather jackets, patched jackets and coats, vests, gloves, chaps, saddle bags, tool bags, and patches. Also knives, swords, cutlery, leather purses and leather travel bags in all sizes.
Another vinder has western decor in metal as well as ceramic while another has beanie babies and other nice gifts. Still another has jewelery and can make it or repair yours while you wait. Others have beautiful silk floral designs, furniture art and new gas heaters that look like a wood burning heater.
There are also candles, cookie jars, southwest figurines, DVD's, movies, clocks, crafts and much more.
If it is a Christmas gift or a hard to find treasure we probably have it. New or used we've got it.
This is our 3rd. year in business and we hope to be here many more. Come by and have a cup of coffee or hot chocolate while you shop. I promise you will not be disappointed. Most vinders offer Lay-A-Way.

I have the Onalaska Trade Center flea market located on 190 W. in Onalaska across from the car wash. I have 1 large space 24'x12 and 1 small space 12x12 for rent. lg. rent is $40.00 per week and sm. is $25.00 per week. Theese spots go fast. Each space has storage under the counter tops for extra merchandise. You do not have to pack up at the end of each sale day or week end. We have 24/7 security and tons of traffic during the weekend. Also a food booth with lots of goodies to choose from. Hours are 9am to 5pm Fri. Sat. and Sun. This is Pebbles, I was going to name her Meesha cus it fits her but she loves to pick the pebbles in the yard up and chew on them so I think I am going to change it to Pebbles lol

Can't e-mail through iTown either - this old computer is just shot. Getting a "new" one next week so I hope ALL the problems will be history, LOL. At least posting still seems to work.

Won't be doing anything much with the lot. Just don't have the time, the energy or the money. We brought the camper with the AC back here, so I can't live out there again. Hurricane Rita brought down more trees so I'd have to start all over again. Why bother when we can't get water or septic? I've got it for sale for $3,000 - should post it on here, LOL.

Sure wish we could buy your place and just build the kennels on the lots. It's a great deal, can't believe you haven't sold it! Wanna swap deeds, LOL? You could rent this place out. . .

Can't just swap deeds but we might can work out something if you are really interested. I have a few fairly good potentials but you know how that goes, is a wait and see situation. These are the winners from the Benefit Pageant that was held in Lufkin yesterday!!! 3 area girls competed and won great titles. They are Cassadi Steagall-(black hat) Livingston She won Supreme Queen and Heather Wiggins (Teen) won Teen Queen!!! I have aquired a Donkey. I would like to train him to pull a small buggy, surrey, wagon etc to give children rides when we have our SPCA events. Does anyone have or know of someone that has a buggy, wagon etc for sale cheap or free? I would also need a harness and tips on how to train him to pull one lol I dont have him in my yard yet, but we will be putting the fencing up this weekend and should have him sometime next week. He is only 4 so easily trainable.

I am hoping to have a Benefit Pageant on April 22, in Lufkin Texas for Amercian Cancer Society. I am dedicating this pageant to my GrandFather who we lost to cancer on July 5th, 1993. I lost both of my grandparents to cancer and this disease has effected my family by taking 2 people who were loved dearly and missed so much!!! Caroll and Lorraine Cooper of Tyler Texas. I lost my GrandMother on January 29,1996.
This is a picture of my GrandFAther taken around July 1981, holding my Daughter Brandi Lorraine. She is now 25 yers old and a Registered Nurse in Tyler Texas, my GrandParents would have been so proud of Brandi, for she was the Apple of their eyes!!!

I joined the photobucket and have tried to get some photos on here, but they are coming out WAY too large. SO it must be me, because I tested to see of I could get one of their advertising banners on here and it worked!! Any suggestions on how to get my pics small enough to get on this board??? I thought I read that their software would automatically make your pics smaller if they needed it...so mine must be gigantic LOL

Niskie, on the photobucket site over the pictures there is an edit button. Click on it and you can make the pictures smaller that way.

You sure can resize right within photobucket. I never noticed it. With me on dial up, I just resize them first so it doesn't take so awfully long to upload them, but what ever works right? Thanks for the tip Carol!~ T

Hi Niski!
Yes you have to use photo editing software to resize them smaller for generally what you want on a webpage. Windows xp comes with one but IDK how to access it or use it. I have paint shop pro and arc soft photo impression. Usually when I open a pic in one of those, I reduce it to 33% then save it with a new name so your original stays the same. Then upload your resized picture. I know there are some free ones on the web but I dont have the names handy. You can email me any time if you need help thtalksh2@yahoo.com

I'm just testing to see if my images will show up here. I noticed someone asked how to put pics on this page. All you have to do is host your photo at a place like www.photobucket.com and it will write the html code under it for you to copy/paste wherever you want (for free).

ps: there are a ton of sites with fancy scrolling letter codes and almost anything you can think of. Do a search for myspace codes and see what pops up. For instance, you could make your sign or banner with software like paint shop pro or adobe then host it at a free image hosting site. It's alot of fun!!

The SPCA will be having a mini adoptathon Saturday April 1st. We will have puppies on site available for adoption. We will be there 9 am until 2 pm. We are located on hwy 190 west right next to Livingston Animal Hospital in the same building as FanciPets grooming.
All pets are up to date on vaccinations, wormed and will be microchipped before adoption. The adoption fee is 75.00 and includes all vaccinations to date, rabies and spay/neutering when of age, microchipping, 30 days of health insurance, a puppy care handbook and dvd.

She makes to die for floral arrangements.Of course I have my home full of her creations!!! Everyone who visites me at home, thinks I had a professional interior designer here.....but no....my Momma decorated my home with her talent. Thanks Momma and I LOVE YOU DEARLY!!!!

Canton has really grown into a HUGE trades day. It would take someone, I know a good week to see everything. They have anything . Also ran into a couple from Colemsnail (spelling) who makes some great wood stuff (western and cowboy stuff) Their names are Bill and Trish. Also met Alice from Lufkin who makes some really cute ladies clothes. If anyone saw me around town in those adorable denium capri pants, she made them.Always people are asking me where did you get those cute shirts, capris, sandels.......from Alice. Thanks Alice for dressing me LOL...
Well hope you all are having a great weekend....it has been a nice one for me.

BTW......When do we SPRING AHEAD with our clocks???Anyone know???
