And WTF! If Karpeles leaves what's left in town? WORSE WHAT WILL BECOME OF THE BUILDING? Another Safe Harbor? Is it registered with National Historic? No wait. That means nothing in Newburgh. It'll be demolished before the ink on the closing papers dries. Maybe it'll become the next Savoy, or a new parking lot for City Hall. More Welfare offices? NCAC? Tax free/exempt? Iglesias Something or Other? Indoor flea market? Family Dollarama? Marquetta de Nuevaburgho? Who in hell is going to invest 3 million dollars for anything in a place with a perfect history of DOCUMENTED failure and public corruption? Here we go into total ruin. Let's see how our ARC handles THIS one. Let's see how our government parlays it into more cocktail funds.
