Subject: Pope

Bishops, archbishops, and cardinals, have to send a mandatory letter of resignation to the pope at age 75. Cardinals who are 80 years old can no longer vote in a conclave. Should a pope have to resign at age 75 or 80 ?

I don't think that anyone should be forced to retire unless he really can't do his job anymore.

Since, a cardinal isn't allowed to vote for a pope once he is 80. The reason he cannot vote is because he could be elected and it is felt that he is too old at 80 to become a pope. Therefore,I believe a pope should have to retire at age 80.
