Parents For Fair Pageants Club


WELCOME TO THE PARENTS FOR FAIR PAGEANTS CLUB. IF YOUR FED UP WITH WHAT PAGEANTS HAVE BECOME THIS IS THE BOARD FOR YOU. WE NEED TO STICK TOGETHER IF WE WANT TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE. IF YOU WANT TO JOIN THIS CLUB AND BE A PART OF MAKING CHANGES IN THE PAGEANT INDUSTRY EMAIL AT PFFPC@AOL.COM DIRECTORS, IF YOUR INTERESTED IN WHAT OUR CLUB IS TRYING TO DO YOU CAN EMAIL ALSO. WERE ALL INTERESTED IN A FAIR PAGEANT THAT WILL OFFER THE THINGS THAT WE WANT CHANGED.WE ARE GOING TO RATE THE PAGEANTS WITH A STAR FOR EACH THING THAT WE ARE ASKING FOR. THIS BOARD IS NOT CREATED AS A BASH BOARD. IT WAS CREATED TO HELP US GET BETTER PAGEANTS OFFERED TO US. BASHING WILL DEFEAT THAT. "PLEASE DON'T DO IT" WE HAVE TO PUT FORTH A GOOD IMAGE FOR OUR CHILDREN AND THE PAGEANT INDUSTRY WE LOVE. We want your comments so we can talk about it. What do you want from these directors? DO NOT POST YOUR NAME ON THIS BOARD. Please email us your information.It's necessary because when we approach the directors with our ideas, they need to know that they are dealing with many people and not just a couple of "sore losers". They listen when it means MANY MORE contestants to their nationals. We are not coaches or hairdressers that can offer them 40 contestants,we are pageant moms that can mean 100s of contestants to these directors and they will listen to us. If you have something that you would like changed in pageants, please tell us so we can discuss it in detail and see if it should be added to our list. Once we compile the list, we will list the pageants with stars behind their names for each thing on the list we are asking for. You will know which pageants to go to by the stars behind their name. Some may have more or less, and its up to you to choose, but you will know before going what your getting into. We are going to make business cards for our club and would like you to show them to the director when you register for a pageant. They need to know about our club and know that there are many of us. It's time that the parents have some influence with these directors. Ladies, we really can make a difference if we ban together. WE CAN'T GUARANTEE YOU A WIN, BUT WE CAN HELP YOU HAVE A FAIR SHOT AT THAT WIN. Here are a few rules that we think will work for starters. We welcome suggestions for more if you have them, #1 Gives out scoresheets at the pageant and posts the master scoresheet. #2 Sticks by the rules in the paperwork and does not let some get by with breaking them. #3 Does not let the retiring queens recompete until they move up to the next grand supreme group. #4 Does not have hidden fees not disclosed in the paperwork. #5 Gives out the prizes stated in the paperwork.If prorating it must be stated in the paperwork. #6 Does not allow coaches or moms to stand behind the judges and coach a child while she is competiting unless the child is three and under. #7 Directors that do not use pageant moms as their judges. #8 No fallback dates. Compete your age the day of the pageant. #9 Director that introduces her judges before the pageant. #10 Director does not ask you to bring gifts. #11 No gymnastic or tumbling, or leg lifted above the knee in pro-am #12 Director that arranges the schedule so that the contestants are not competing too late and missing the partys. #13 Does not use vendors of any kind to help with the pageant in any way. #14 Has photogenic as a side event not counting toward any other title. #15 Nationals must have 5-6 judges throwing out the lowest score. #16 Director does not allow anyone affiliated with her pageant to compete their child. NEVER POST A NAME OR INITIAL ON THIS BOARD. It will be removed ASAP. If you want to join you must email--pffpc@aol.com
