  • It depends on many things. I am hoping to have a first draft done by the end of the year, but that might be overly ambitious and optimistic on my part. After that it has to go out to a few people to look over and edit. That takes awhile as well- also depends who I can beg and bribe to do it this time round. :) Then of course there's the publication process itself, which was actually relatively brief last time, and will be even less of a hassle this time, as many things are in place. I'll probably reassess where I'm at in the fall, I'm hoping to get some work done over the summer- I have done it before, so I know it's possible. I just need to convince my girls of it.       • I think we're having a moment of synchronicity, E. because I was just reading about the whole concept of Russia as rodina last night. They think it goes back to the pagan religions when most cultures worshipped the Great Mother. Maybe we can save this statue for the centrepiece of the circle- just give her angel wings and wa-la!!     • Just Googled...what about the six winged seraphim (angel)? Apparenlty it is related to Orthodox religion and I found it listed with Russian items. Here's what a jewelry website said: "The Angelic Ranks are divided into three Hierarchies: highest, middle, and lowest. The Highest Hierarchy includes: the Seraphim, Cherubim and Thrones. I think with some artistic flair it could be a beautiful cover with that red color.
