This is in response to your recent e-mail to MTA New York City Transit regarding incorrect destination signage on the A line.

We regret if you experienced difficulty while using our subway system. In response to your complaint, we have forwarded a copy of your e-mail to supervision in our Department of Subways with a request that train crews on the A line be reinstructed to properly display the correct destination sign on their trains. Be assured that supervision will continue to closely monitor service and announcements for content and clarity on the A line to prevent any recurrence of this incident.

If you encounter a problem with a train in the future, we request that you note the date, time, location, and the subway car number and contact Customer Services at (718) 330-3322, Monday through Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., or write to Customer Services at 2 Broadway, Room A11.146, New York, NY 10004. This will enable us to address your concerns more thoroughly and target our efforts more effectively.

We take the concerns of our customers very seriously and thank you for having taken the time to bring this matter to our attention.
