I wonder if other things were done, which were the main reason for the procedure, and at an early time the same with your father.

What was you connected to after the surgery, and for how long? Urinary catheter, anal tube, abdominal drain, nasogastric tube, breathing tube, IVs, electrodes, and any other thing.

Did you have stich marks or openings made other places than at the said surgery place?

Any pain or feelings at other places than the said surgery place?

How long were you under anesthesia.

Were there persons around you that did not seem related to a simple appendicectomy.

Did child protective services or the like have a special interest for you around the surgery time?

Did you experience other kids got sent to hospital or fetched by some mystical ambulances around the time, without them being sick?

Answers to these questions may give a hint.
