Hi sorry it's been awhile since I've responded, i had classes and then i had my meeting with the surgeon. He was able to clarify some things that I wasn't sure or or didn't really remember. I'll go back to the beginning a bit more.

It started when I was 6 or 7 and I was having in and off again stomach issues and pain, mu doctor had me get some tests done at a small town hospital and they noticed some issues that could possibly be pancreas related so I was referred to an endocrinologist who also got in touch with one at a bigger hospital as well. They tried treating me with medication but it wasn't working well and my pain got worse so that's when we started talking about it with a surgeon. I had some cameras out into my mouth, bum and belly button well i was asleep by a doctor at the small town hospital. The surgeon at the bigger hospital looked over it and had me come in to the hospital he was at for more tests and after that he decided to do surgery on me. At the time the procedure I had done was one of the first ones he had done on someone my age. He apologized for having to open me up and also that the transplant hadn't been successful. I told him that it was fine and that I was just glad to not have the pain anymore.
