DD has had very good placements but has still felt some disappointment at times. Even if she is disappointed, she feels she would look like a spoiled brat if she were seen crying. For example, getting second place is nothing to be ashamed of but it can be disappointing if you thought you deserved first. Her thinking is "how would all those who didn't even recall feel?" They would have been delighed just to recall, never mind placing on the podium. She always waits to leave the venue to express any disappointment.
