Author: Something is crooked
Subject: We need an investigation into the investigation. Question: why was a person who was clearly physically unwell given the arduous task of running the administrative hearings?

We all just received the sad news of the passing of Carmel Doyle. While her handling of the investigative hearings on feis fixing caused frustration in the Irish dance community, no one knew the extent of her illness and why she’d be put in charge of such a difficult task in her state. It does make you wonder if the hearings were purposely designed to fail. The word on the streets is that Sandra Connick intentionally halted attempts to get Kevin Broesler’s physical phone which would have provided the evidence needed to convict. And then Carmel Doyle reportedly refused to sit on hearings after the first few happened because of the lack of evidence and the frustration of the barristers.

I think Ellen Coyne has a red hot case in her hands if she chooses to investigate it. There are way too many coincidences for this investigation collapse not to be orchestrated.

What will happen if CLRG is caught tainting their own investigation? And why would they taint it? Did they get threats or payoffs from certain TCs and ADs named in the scandal? The fact that NO ONE who’s at the helm of CLRG is taking any accountability or showing any remorse is concerning. They almost amidst seem pleased that a massive scandal has happened and that most people have forgotten about it. The Irish Government needs to do a formal investigation. They are at risk of their national cultural export being permanently tarnished.
