Something had gone terribly wrong in his world. His hard earned control, the years it had taken him to gain it, had disappeared as if they had never existed. His wolf was dangerously close to the surface, itching for a fight. For almost an hour he had stalked all over town, knowing his wolf would tear his apartment to shreds if he went home. He needed a good couple fights, or a good couple fucks to put his wolf back where he belonged.
Growling, he stalked through the ally ways, looking for trouble. He'd already had a good round with a pack of bikers outside the Club. All eight of them would spend a few days in the hospital, but they would live. The fight had taken the edge off, only because he's had so many bodies to spread the attack over. But something was still bothering his Wolf. He still wasn't settling like he should. Wolf should have been glowing, curling up to nap after such a glorious win. But he was still pacing, still longing for something more...
He could smell her... Though in such a small town, she could be anywhere and the wind was carrying her scent to him. But as he stalked past main, he spotted her at the hot dog vender. He stopped, hidden in the shadows as he watched her. As she began walking, he watched for a moment then began stalking her. He jogged silently through the alley parallel to main, making his way ahead to the next corner to wait. He stood just around the corner, waiting for her in the shadows.
As he heard her footfalls come closer, he couldn't hold back the breathy growl that rumbled from his chest. His fingers flexed rymicaly as he waited, not sure what he was going to do when she walked past. He had to do something...
I put the pedal to the metal as the sun goes down. Leave everybody sleepin in this sleepy town tonight, And at the break of day, I'll be a runaway!
A hundred miles in, I got a stupid grin on my scruffy face. With every cigarette, I'm burning my regrets. Don't want to leave a trace. And from the rear-view, I've got clear view of who I used to be. A little bit faster now, Don't wanna turn around. I'm a runaway!
