Emmaline listened as the extensive list was rattled off, leaving her wine sitting before her. As soon as Telcoltl was done ordering and had turned those amber eyes to her, she smiled sweetly at the waiter and ordered some pinapple and mango slices for her to nibble on. She was a fan of the more exotic, whether it be food, drink....eh....could her choice in men be exotic? A flamboyant greek man, Elijah the shifter, and Telcoltl the Aztec? I suppose it was a little on the exotic side.

Her golden eyes were captured by those deep ambers as he turned to look at her. Her head tilted only ever so slightly as she listened to his words. As he spoke she heard his first sentence and it caused a slight frown to appear at the corners of her lips. So he thought of this as business did he? She sighed inwardly...she would probably have to accept the fact that Silas had been one of a kind, someone who had truly loved her in -every- way. The one who came home to her to cuddle, have fun, and spend time together. The one she could talk to about anything and everything. But he was dead now, so she really needed to get over it she supposed.

But then his next words seemed to be said in an effort to dispel the business like air. "Yes, it could be fun." If you want me...it could really be fun. But she left those words unspoken. At his next words she smiled at the hopefulness in his voice. Hmmm what exactly did that mean? She offered him a soft genuine smile although her inner thoughts raced. "Of course, I have no issue with being friends."
