She looked up at him with her own smile. "Darling, its okay. You just, well smelled slightly different." And in truth he had. He didn't have the smell of a normal human. She had wandered this earth long enough to finally come to realize the scents and smells of the different beings and creatures that wandered this world. Lavender eyes looked into his. She had been waiting the whole night to recieve some type of confirmation on her assumption and he had finally given it to her. However, she had also been waitng for him to ask her why her eyes were so uniquily colored. But thankfully he hadn't yet. At his comment she couldn't help the small giggle that escaped from her throat. "No Max. No handcuffs, and no arrest. You saved me and anyways I'm not after shifters. Your secret is safely tucked away in my heart and head." Her hand softly stroked his arm unconsciuosly.She smiled at his next words. "I can tell. Do you always seek to save the damsels in distress?" She took a deep breath before deciding on her next move. It would either freak him out and make him run or he would be completely cool with it and there was only one way to find out. Midori scooted closer to him and grabbed the blanket off the couch setting it over her legs before slowly and softly placing black locks upon his shoulder.
