Hello Jordan, What you suggest is very tricky and should be approved by real experts first. With real experts I mean the few people who know what they are doing, not the large group that is only pretending to know.

Besides this may not be the solution to prevent health issues. If one would like to cross with other breeds in my opinion breeds that are close could be considered (Mastiff, Tosa, and the like). But I would think not twice but 200 times before doing that.
