 Two taxes are about to be hit harder than ever here in Australia, both are in rtelation to life's luxuries; cigarettes and alcohol. We are really turning into a nanny state. The federal government is going to follow Ireland's trend and plaster warning signs and graphic lablelling on bottled beer, canned beer, wine bottles, wine casks and bottled spirits. Don't tell me taxes won't increase and prices will not increase. Acohol firms will nbeed to find extra cash to pay for the labelling. And as per usual the government will feed us more spin by telling us that, like smoking treatments in public health facilities put a burden on tax[payers. Yet it doesn't allocate treatment for the smoker with these problems. It will use the same excuse when this labelling and graphic imaging of alcohol comes into effect. You mark my words.
