I agree that only the women's versions, especially those from Rago (I prefer the 6210 myself) provide true support for the tummy! Most "modern" girdles, or "shapewear" as they are now called, are simply tight and stretchy and squeeze everything equally. The panelled girdles like the 6210 have areas like the front and sides that have no stretch, and are reinforced to hold you in! While I have some of the modern versions for everyday wear around the house, nothing beats my Rago 6210 or 696 girdles with panels!
