Seems to me that Castle would NOT react the way they're having him react. He's a writer. he can write anywhere. So what would stop him from going to DC with Kate? Yeah, I know they wouldn't be working together, but they'd still be together. Of course, we know that she won't take the job, or if she does, she'll come back to NYC in the first or second episode next season. -- Always Castle

Yes he can but with a job like this she would never be home. Traveling all over the country, And because just started would want to do best job could so really would have no time for them. - I don't think she lied to him. I wouldn't say it that way. I think she was finding the job more interesting than she wanted to. She was trying to believe that it was nothing. And if she was going to dismiss it as nothing then telling Castle would only worry him needlessly. Also if there is something she has to think through she doesn't voice it until she's come to her conclusions and can talk about it.
