Subject: Totally correct-----but does she have a brain, it would be far easier to win Miss Colorado this next year 2025 than to try to get to Miss America by winning big Lone Star competitive Texas. Even if she goes to college in Texas just to use home-state Colorado

In reply to: 's message, "Sarah Jean Swift assumed the Miss Colorado crown when Madison was crowned Miss America. Since she has never competed in Miss America, she is eligible to continue to compete in the program.
She attends Southern Methodist University in Texas, and therefore is eligible for competition there. She would also be eligible in Colorado, as she crowned her successor, thereby giving her a gap year as required (formerly under MAO.org) before she could compete again.

Did it occur to you that she might be using this opportunity to become a stronger competitor? Especially since she already has to take a gap year in Colorado. (NT)No name

In the 1980s, Debbie Riecks tried twice for Miss TX, then returned to CO upon graduating from SMU. On her second try, a TX couple bought her the EG that she wore as Miss CO at Miss A. That EG + her experience as a TX titleholder=priceless IJS (NT)No name
