I included the changes that Gretchen Carlson made to the MAO in my new memoir (Just released), The Pink Dress, A Memoir of a Reluctant Beauty Queen.

I tried reaching out to Gretchen early in the preparation of the manuscript but was told that Gretchen was not interested in pageant interviews and would only talk to people writing about workplace sexual harassment and things related to this.

In retrospect, I'm glad that the interview never happened.
