Subject: She's engaged. Can we stop acting like pageants are the most important thing in any of these women's lives? Even the girls that are good at them? Goodness.

Not one person said pageants are the most important thing. I said I would love to see her give it one more try. She's 24, FFS. It's a fine age to get married, but it also is a younger age. It's not like we're saying she should be competing at age 35 (NT)No name

Who said Pageants are the most important thing in these girls lives? Oh that's right no one did. What is wrong with wanting a talented young women to try to win her state title!?! If you feel so strongly against pageants then why are you here? (NT)No name

I am happy when young women see their futures more brightly as they age; some think their futures are better if they move on, rather then stay in a hamster wheel for another year. Given a choice between a husband and potential forever happiness, and a crown, I'd take the husband every time. (NT)No name
