In reply to: 's message, "Scandal- What happened to the eligibility requirements? Anna Grace Loudenbeck- 0 ties to Maryland and was 3rd Runner Up at Miss Tennessee Volunteer." on Sun March 10, 2024 10:23:00

Truth is Maryland should have won Tennessee and would have if there had been certified judges in place last summer at the State Pageant. Fact: Tennessee Queen and first RU that went at large did not place in Top 16 at National Pageant. Same will happen in Miss probably because several queens competed against the TN Queen at State. Queen won because she worked for TN Board Pageant Member. That is why so many left and went to other systems. Tennessee will never build back up until they get good quality certified judges that have NO ties to anyone.

Miss Tennessee Volunteer PreTeen pageant is 100# rigged. When this pageant is only based on the girls walking the stage for 20 seconds or so an unattractive, stringy haired girl in a dated, tacky dress wins the preteen pageant, there is no other excuse but super obvious rigging. The audience was in shock when they announced the winner. Many where thinking they may have gotten the girls numbers confused, but no. Of course all of the judges are from Jackson, TN and surprise!! So was the girl who won. With the only competition in the PreTeen pageant being an evening gown walk for 20 seconds of modeling on stage, it’s not hard for everyone with eyeballs to see who the winner and top 5 should be. When the judges choose the (literally) least likely girl to even place, let alone win the pageant, there is no other reason for this except that this is a rigged, unfair system. Although the preteen pageant is definitely a very small piece of the big Tennessee teen and iris pageant that night, the obvious dishonesty and rigging during the preteen pageant leaves a bad test for everyone. I mean hello! It’s obvious to all of the audience who the winners should be. Just so disheartening to the young girls who might want to move into the teen competition someday but may choose to go with MAO or another system instead. The volunteer America system really needs to get it together and take the time to hire non-biased legit pageant coaches. Not the local dentist or alderman or whatever, but actual real life experienced pageant judges from everywhere except Jackson, TN. This is not rocket science. Please get it getter because you have pretty much destroyed any faith most of the preteen girls and their Moms have in the TN volunteer pageant system.
