Volunteer has struggled in MI and will continue to struggle in MI as long as everyone is afraid of the MAO state leadership. Girls will not compete because they know that they will be black balled. In her quest for the MAO crown the first MI volunteer has said nothing positive about the experience . MI girls run from the thought of this system. Sponsors are also hard to come by because Paula has been known to ban vendors. People do not want to loose business. Combine that with the high franchise fee and it is no wonder that MI struggles to keep leadership and can not get girls. -- Miss Volunteer America Pageant
