The enema equipment you describe doesn't sound so unique - it was a once-commonplace device, and probably the most efficient way to give an enema (bulbs never empty entirely).
I'm surprised you were ordered to sit on it - this is as much a punishment as a "purgation", so surely you should have been held down and forcibly opened.
I'm also surprised they didn't administer another enema of plain water to flush away the irritant soap-residue. And that you speak of releasing "solution", as if there wasn't any shit coming out. (The point of punishment enemas is that any aberrant-abhorrent behavior could be partly due to the link between inadequate bowel elimination and absorption of colorectal toxins affecting the brain. Children, meaning prepubescents, are especially likely to be acting shitty because they're full of shit).
I learned this all the hard way in my early years.
