Kathy, about the same age here. Was given a bulb enema on the kitchen table. Till about 5 or so. Then got enemas across the lap or on the bed.

When you decided an enema was going to be given on the changing table, did you prepare everything and then went and got the one who was going to be given the enema?

I'd love to write a small book about enemas in the 50s and 60s. How they were given. How the mom decided an enema was needed and such.

When you gave them enemas over your lap did you use the bulb syringe?
