He glances up at mention of another flit and smiles at Velvet. "A blue. He's beautiful," T'yin compliments, although he's still plainly fascinated by Daer. One delicate eyebrow arches. "Bottomless pit, eh? I daresay that when Daer wakes up, he'll be the same way," he chuckles quietly.

Viouth ducks her head under her wing while answering. Unfortunately, T'yin has no friends, other than myself. He never was a social boy, and after he Impressed, nearly all his free time was spent with me. I was spoiled, but he neglected himself in favor of pampering his green. Pride and sadness war with themselves in her smooth voice. For A'rak, it is good to have female friends. She doesn't further her opinion on that one, but finishes preening and stretches her glimmering pinions.

The greenrider, on the other hand, is simply delighted with his gift. Stroking Daer's soft, young hide, he smiles at A'rak. "This was very kind of you. I've not received a better gift, unless you count Viouth a gift," he adds hastily, glancing outside. No matter how hard you try, T'yin, you can't offend me, she points out, amused.
